Beta Zeta Chapter will volunteer at the 11th Annual Anacostia River Festival on May 17, 2025. The breakdown of volunteer time slots is as follows:
Early Morning Event Prep: 7:00 AM – 10:00 AM
Event Prep: 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM
Festival Support: 12:00 PM – 4:30 PM
Festival Breakdown: 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM
We have reserved 10 slots for our seasoned Sorors who may prefer activities that allow for more sitting. If you know of anyone else who may need accommodations, please let Soror Laticia Taylor (laticiataylor1920@gmail.com) know, and she'll try to adjust assignments as needed.

Through live musical performances, a curated marketplace, and historical exhibitions, we aim to honor and uplift the many cultures that shape the Black experience in Washington, D.C. This year’s festival promises an unforgettable journey through the sounds, stories, and traditions that make our community so unique. We invite you to join us in celebrating this powerful cultural legacy.
