Zeta Amicae of Washington, DC

On February 23, 1949, the Kappa Alpha Chapter became the first undergraduate chapter to present an auxiliary when they presented their Zeta Amicae at their Finer Womanhood Program. This group of women became the second oldest Zeta Amicae auxiliary group chartered in the sorority and is now known as the Zeta Amicae of Washington, DC, sponsored by Beta Zeta Chapter. 

For over 77 years, the Zeta Amicae of Washington, DC have supported the DC Community and all the Sorors of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated serving the DC area. You can frequently find our Amicae working with the Eldercare Committee, donating to Little Friends of Peace, supporting local churches, and hosting their annual Sisters and Friends Tea.
